Heating Allowance 2025–2026
The government announced Decision A.1151/2025 regarding the Heating Allowance for the 2025–2026 period. The measure targets households with a primary residence that use eligible heating methods and meet the income and property criteria.

Eligible Recipients
Individuals using:

• Heating oil, blue kerosene, natural gas, LPG

• Firewood/pellets, district heating

• Electricity for heating

Income Criteria (2025–2026):

• Single/Widowed: up to €16,000

• Married/Civil partnership: up to €24,000

• Single-parent family: up to €29,000, with additional allowances per child

Property Limits:

• Singles: property value up to €200,000

• Married: property value up to €260,000, with additional allowances per child

Amounts & Calculation
The allowance ranges from €100 to approximately €800, with a maximum of €1,200 for regions with a high climate factor.

It is calculated based on: type of heating × climate coefficient × family status coefficient.

Deadlines 2025–2026

• Opening of the myThermansi platform: Monday, 10/11/2025

• Submission deadline: Friday, 6/12/2025

Consumption period for receipts:

• Firewood/pellets: 1/6/2025 to 31/3/2026

• Other fuels/electricity: 1/10/2025 to 31/3/2026

Allowance Payment: Paid in installments, with the final payment expected by the end of July 2026.
